Vases and vessels
We love having fresh flowers and greenery dotted around our homes all year round, and so are always on the lookout for beautiful vases and vessels. Whether something small for just a couple of stems, or something more substantial for bushy branches foraged on a walk, take a look at our current pieces. And if you can’t see what you are looking for, get in touch - we would love to find something for you!
A small but perfectly shaped pop of colour. Beautiful Murano vase in a deep red colour, with swirl ‘rigadin’ motif. It reminds us of an old fashioned candy.

An elegant English mantel vase - we had not seen one in this shape before, and love the unusual and quintessentially Art Deco design. Light cream in colour.
29cm long (handle to handle), 12cm tall.
Stunning and substantial Italian sgraffito mantel vase (you will need a substantial mantel!) / bowl / centrepiece - delete as appropriate… This is a chunky terracotta piece with wonderfully rustic chippy paint and glaze. It has a most excellent perching griffin to the inside and lemon trees decorating the exterior.

Mid century Doric style mantel vase.

Gorgeous mantel vase from Shorter & Sons. We love the shape of the vase and the petals design.

We have managed to get our hands on a few stunning Erik Mornils for Nittsjö vases. These distinctive Scandinavian ceramics have become popular with collectors and designers. They are a perfect size for flowers but would also look stunning as decorative pieces in a group.
This one has a deep green glaze in a malachite effect finish. In excellent condition.
20cm high.
Wonderfully extra black mantel vase with scalloped edges and scrolled handles.
33cm long x 10cm deep x 14cm high
Naive terracotta pedestal vase in white glaze with green foliage decoration. Imperfect glaze, painted off white with a squiggly decoration of leaves and lemons.
20cm in diameter and 18cm tall.
Epic pink and red drippy glazed ceramic mantel vase. Photographed here without flowers but already dreaming about it filled with anemones, spilling over the sides. Haven’t seen one like this before!
42cm wide x 16cm deep x 12cm high.
Gorgeous neoclassical lines for this mid century urn shaped vase. Unglazed in an off white.
A really marvellous and substantial 18th century Delft tobacco jar from France. We fell in love with it at first sight, with its beautiful blue ribbon and the pair of griffin masks as handles. Rounded trim, baluster shaped body. Dating to around 1750, this French faience jar was in use before the French Revolution.
28cm high.
