Moody nude

£710.00
Sold Out

So pleased to have found this remarkable oil painting. There is quite a but of theatre and poetry in this piece: the moody colours, the clear contours and the otherworldly expression of this lady. The frame is something else too, quite a work of art in itself. It is a very heavy painting.

It is the work of an early 20th century British artist called Mary Phyllis Antrobus (1905-1983). Quite an incredible piece which would really make a room and would look perfect in a bathroom, bedroom or dressing room.

62cm x 55cm.
