This lovely landscape is the work of Catalan postwar artist Joan Cuspinera. Originally an engraver who trained at the Academy of Fine Arts in Salzburg and in Paris, he worked as a painter in Barcelona, Madrid, London, New York and Berlin. His first exhibited in 1966 and received a number of prizes for his engravings. His paintings can be found in a number of private and public collections including in the Fundacio Joan Miro in Spain and the Museum of Contemporary Art in Barcelona.
